Fall is slowly creeping in on us...




I don't know what the weather has been for you but in our "neck of the woods" but here, fall is crying to be seen. Great sleeping weather and some cooler days with a touch of rain begin bringing me back to the inside to prepare warm and comfort type meals... How about you?

Yes, fall has arrived overnight I think. I love fall. I wish it lasted longer.

Oh yeah! Soups and homemade breads 'round here! Took some heirloom tomatoes out of the garden and slow roasted them at 250 for several hours, then pureed them in my blender. Froze it in quart containers for tomato soup this winter. Smelled so good in here!!!
Also, trying some new bread recipes to go along with the soups. All cozy and nice in here!

Picked tomatoes in the rain and canned 27 qts with my sister. We had fun. :)
