Wow! I am interested to follow this journey. If you have a minute, can you explain more about your homeschool philosophy? Sounds a little like Charlotte Mason. I read your entry on the website about home learning but I am curious if you have a particular book or teacher who has influenced you.

Hi! My name is Angie and I founfd your place through Farm House Blessings. Once I got interested in your story, I started from your oldest post to you most recent. I love what you and your family are doing, I think it's totally awesome! I would do it in a heart beat if I could. I'm curious as to how you came to this opportunity/decision? How is it that you all can afford to do this? I would so give up life as I know it now and live off grid if I could. I saw the video with the announcement but I don't have speakers on my computer at work so I could hear anything. Anyway, I would love to know how you got started on this new adventure.
Thanks for sharing!

p.s.
I love your wood burning stove, the sink in your old house, the green eggs (i use to have those kinds of chickens!), and your rolls look delicious, mind sharing your recipe?

I, too, found your blog thru another blog (Heimdall's Haven, and maybe another one, as well), and I too went back and read from the beginning of your journey. Blessings to you all, for daring to live your dream!

I actually can't see the video, it is so dark, but I've been viewing other pix of your home. All I can say is, wow! (And I'd love to know how one blogs, transfers photos, uses a phone, etc., with no electricity!)
