a view from bed rest

I figure I have been in bed since the evening of March 30... I will spare you most of the drama but I have developed pleurisy in my right lung and I will start my 2nd round of killer antibiotics tomorrow after a second visit to the hosptial. I have never slept so much in my life. If you know me, this is not me! I get it why people who are sick just give up and I am not even "that" sick!

I have enjoyed the snuggle time with my dear boy and have been telling him that someone is coming to meet him real soon and that I will have to have him be momma's helper now!

these are some of my shots looking out my bedroom window...

lots of Eric Carle books between naps and all...

the entire family has been so helpful around here! Thank you for your kind sentiments!
He is RISEN!

Bedrest is aweful! I am glad you are trying to see the bright side. I was on bedrest with three of my four pregnancies.. and quite frankly, I should have been with my forth. My Mother also had Pleurosy when she was prego for me. I heard it was really painful. I am praying for you and your family. I love the blog...keep with it! Oh and..Happy Easter.

I am so sorry that you are so sick!
I know pleurisy can be painful. (from my old nursing days) I hope the second round will kill that ole' bug!! Your puppy has grown and is so cute. What did you name him? The horses look so neat out there - bet your hubby really enjoys them. I hope you feel much better soon. Will keep you in my prayers...debbie

Thinking about you, Ang! What wonderful daughters you have, to be taking such good care of you. Loved the most recent photos, and are very much looking forward to seeing your new blessing! Your little man looks like quite a snuggler with you and those books scattered around him.

He is Risen Indeed!

He is risen indeed!

Perhaps this is a way that a very busy mama can get some enforced rest before the homecoming of a new one in the family. Sorry you are sick - pray for a return of your health.

The feeling like "giving up" is God's/your body's way of making sure you give it the rest it needs.

Yay! Does this mean you have time to post more and stop by my blog now! Well, I don't mean yay you're on bed rest, but yay we get a little more of you!

Hope you feel better soon (but not too soon). You know, just in a perfect amount of time soon. :)

I had pleurisy years ago, the antibiotic should knock it out. Take care of yourself and that baby.
Love the pictures.

I love the picture of the horses coming to say hello!

I hope time passes quickly for you! It IS frustrating to be in bed when there is s omuch you want to get up and do.

I'm so sorry your sick. I'm glad you have family there to help and cheer you up.
Get well soon and take advantage of the rest. Everything happens for a reason and soon you'll be up and running again.

Aww, I hope you feel better soon. Your body must need the rest though. I know how it is to be so sick and prego too! What a wonderful family you have, and in such a peacful and quiet place. I pray for a quick recover for you! Hugs, Kim
