You can click to enlarge photo. The Gentle Giant is 6'1". The cement the horses are standing on is only about 4" off the ground. You can see they are well over 6' but very gentle. Jim is in the blue bridle and Pearl is in the green. Yesterday we used them at the work bee and they did great. The Gentle Giant even put all their harness' on them and hooked them up to the wagon/trailer.

Their faces are so sweet... it's a good thing I don't have space for anything other than a dog or cats. Well...not a good thing for me. My husband, maybe.

Hey, your hubby has an "Amish" style beard! You guys are really fitting in! If more folks would do what you all are doing our nation could get back to basics and start LIVING life again!!!

They are a lovely matched pair, that's for sure. Looks like they need to have some work done on their hoves. Will you be putting shoes on them or leave them natural? I would love to hop on one and go for a little spin!!...debbie

So exciting for you and think of the money you are saving by using them instead of buying fuel for a tractor. Very impressed.

I love them. I wish I could watch them work. I bet that little one will be guiding the team one day not too far away.

When I was growing up we had Dan, who resembled your horses. He was a work horse but he also took me on rides for hours on end through the woods and fields. I even could ride 3 or 4 of us on him at the same time because he was so huge..he was as gentle as could be. I'm sure your children will come to love the horses.

Those are some big horses! Sounds like they are fast becoming part of the family.
