The "NO"tional anthem

I made this song up. This is my best falsetto operatic singing voice. HA! If you are a mother, you know how giddy you can get when you are sleep deprived... Each time I sit down to nurse the baby, the Great Him (19 months)gets into EVERYTHING... I feel like I am saying "NO" constantly... So, I made up this song for him... :) it has become a favorite around here!

If you put those 'no' lyrics to the tune of the Aussie Notional anthem, you would sing a lot more nos! I just tried it! Crazy eh? Look at what you just started, a worldwide trend! Seriously, Ang, hope you are thoroughly enjoying these early blissful, precious months with your new baby and tell me did you make all those loaves in one go, they look fantastic, if only we could smell the aroma of freshly baked bread over the internet!

My NO NO song was to the tune of "Old McDonald". It got to the point the baby wouldn't go to sleep until I sang it which drove my husband nuts but it beat the alternative...him sitting up at night rocking.

I agree with everyone else, You have a beautiful voice. Mine was torture.

What a hoot! At least it stopped him in his tracks for 45 seconds. *Grin*

I just loved this!
Yea for creativity!!

Now the question is...does it deter the great Him from getting into everything?
