Bill arrived at the farm on a dark and snowy evening. Its a miracle he fit in this small trailer...
Bill is very tall!, Taller than Jim. He is nervous about his new surroundings and this entrance to the barn is to short for him, but he ducked to get in...
The animals are still mourning the loss of dear Pearl and comforting one another. They are getting used to the idea of Bill...

sooo sorry to hear what happened on your farm, a loss like that must be so hard.....we too have experienced loss in severe ways, and the children have learned hard life lessons through this.....

Ang,
Kowboy K said that Bill was huge (and beautiful), but oh wow, he's bigger than I imagined! I was so saddened and sorry to hear of your loss of your great friend Pearl. Hope Bill settles in smoothly for you, and makes some new friends soon in the barn.
I'm typing this while feasting on yummy sparkling-silver-ribbon-wrapped reindeer food! Mmm, MMM! :)
Best Wishes sent your way that all will go smoothly with Bill & Jim.

Here's hoping that Bill adjusts quickly to his surroundings and that the other animals adjust to Bill quickly, as well!
Heres praying it all goes well. Hes beautiful...
I know it's going to be a long while that ya'll are grieving Pearl..that is so sad. But you will have to give all the details on Bill and much more pictures to come..I hope.

Goodness, Bill is a big boy! How many hands is he?17? 18? Mighty tall! Glad you were able to find another horse so quickly...debbie
We think Bill is around 19 hands but not 100%
I have been reading your blog for some time now. I saw where Pearl was sick. Then that she had to be put down. I am so sorry. I know she will be missed so much. Now I see you have Bill. He is HUGE! I didn't know horses could be so big. My friend up the road has Belgians but nowhere near that size. I hope he works out for ya'll.

Bill is Beautiful. I know Pearl will stay alive in your memories. So now there is Big Jim and Bigger Bill. I hope that Bill adjusts wonderfully into your farm. Emily
