It's beautiful! Did you paint the floor? We are in the middle of ripping up 5 layers of carpet and lanolium off of the original hardwood floor in our house and they look rough. I've seen a few articles about painting trashed wood floors. My hubby is skeptical, but I love the painted look. I love this room!

What a lovely job you have done! Yes, I love the blue (that shade in particular) as well. The bedspread is just gorgeous as well. A friend of ours who also bought a farm, told us that farm is spelled W O R K! Well, even though you've got your work cut out for you, looks like you are great at getting things done.

I've been quietly enjoying your blog posts on you new journey in life with your family. As much as I'd love to visit and desperately learn what you have to share; I just can't afford to pay the price. I do enjoy "seeing" you learning experiences though.
