Aaaaah, the joys of taking your beef to market! lol cute video.
One thing we've learned, that if they don't want to you can't make them*wink* You instead have to make them think it is their idea, LOL! Our jersey cow threw my Dh head over tea kettles, when he thought he could hold her by wrapping his arms around her neck. Well... that's fine if it is okay with her, funny how even small cows are so much stronger and quicker than they look. As I'm sure you all have learned you need the ability to adapt and overcome to survive daily challenges of a farm*wink*
Our newest little Dexter calf slipped through a small opening in our fence earlier tonight at feeding time. As he was flying around the various pastures, I thought of you Ang...:) It took 4 of us to "corral" him ~ and (like Kelle said) make HIM think it was his idea to re-enter the same opening.
hehe....that was cute! It's so weird to see the cow pull your husband around with such ease!
LOL!Did you all see happen to the Gene Logsdon posts about this very topic ?Pull up a chair, grab hubby and get ready to laugh 'till you cry. Here's part of it:http://organictobe.org/2010/04/22/hauling-farm-animals-readers-share-their-own-stories/
