I'm so glad you posted this! I love seeing you and hearing you. You're very poised. I didn't realize making soap was so easy. I love homemade soaps. Maybe I'll have to try making my own sometime.
You did such a great job on this video, Ang. I too didn't know that soap making was so easy, and once I move to the country and can get outside to do this, I may try to get some done for Christmas gifts. I think my family would love it, and more than anything would be totally surprised that I made it! LOL. I am anxious to see the video that will be aired on Thurs, thanks for posting it here and on Facebook. Take care, from KY.
Thanks for this post. I make a good part of our soap. Years ago people thought I was strange (maybe I am??) However now, more and more people are doing it as well.
Thanks so much for the post. I love to see people whose blogs I frequent. I would love to one day meet you in person but right now MI is just a little too far from NC. You handled your self with grace and I love that. It showes that you can be a farm wife/worker and still have grace and charm. I will have to give my hand a try at making a batch of soap now that you showed how easy it is.
Well done - you were fantastic!!! Makes me almost brave enough to try making soap myself. (I wonder where I would find lye around here though). Thanks for sharing
It was nice to see you this way. I told my husband that I think even I can make soap...I am a very visual learner and this has given me the confidence to go and try it out...but I still have a problem...would you mind sharing the recipe? I need to buy a scale today and find lye. I already have gloves and goggles... I watched videos before on making soap but yours in the best...seriously how did it gives me the ability to try it too...you were simple to the point and great!.... Now only measurements on the ingredients and I will be on my way

Wow...this video is fantastic! What a wonderful job! Like many others, this gives me courage to try soap making...I've always thought it was too hard. I'd love to make up a bunch of these for Christmas gifts. I, too, would love to have the recipe in print as well as some of your recommended variations (essential oils, exfoliants, colorings, etc.).
