Okya...I'm assuming it's dead???? LOL...Yikes. Never seen a photo like that before. You can come this way as we have quite a few and they are killing all the cats on the farms...which means TOOOO many mice arg!!
Oh my he's a big one. We hear them all the time during the night and I think about my hens tucked tight in their coop.
Beautiful animal, but not so pretty when it's killing your stock. We have a family of Coyotes living behind our Mountain house. The mom is big like that and very well fed, and very pretty. She has 3 young ones that I've only seen once. They have a den in the hillside beside a pond. Did he kill it with that rock or shoot it?...debbie
what sort of dog is that?
On our farm we call them "devil dogs". They have eaten several of our cats, calves, chickens and ducks.
no, not a dog!!! a coyote! small game and kill chickens, quail and more each night... They are beautiful but a nusiance varmit on a farm :)
Nice! Are you going to tan the hide?
good for you. A 40# coyote takes a lot of food to keep it for the winter; keep the hide and tan it!
