Great Pics...thanks so much for sharing. I have been following your blog for some time now and was wondering what the extended family thinks about you living off grid, the amish hair cuts and wearing skirts? Just curious. Many moons ago you spoke some about maybe converting to Amish but didnt hear much about it after that. Just wondered what they thought about that.
Kim, this is a very personal question that I won't answer here completely. However, my extended family isn't concerned about our haircuts or dress choices. They are so thankful that we are living for God and raising our children to love Him, being a strong family unit and having a teaching a good work ethic. That's what only matters to them and us for that matter. They have been very supportive.
Ang, Im sorry for the question. I didnt mean it to sound personal. I reread what I wrote and see I didnt express my thoughts very well. Lets try again....You and your precious family have chosen a foreign lifestyle to many. What I meant was more wondering if they considered the same? Sorry again Ang. I didnt mean for it to sound so personal. I probably should only comment when Im not sleep deprived and exhausted. :) Families affect one another. Sometimes choices we make religion, lifestyle, down to how we cook cause those that we are close to examine their own choices and consider if they are really right for them. Thats all. Hopefully this clears up my thoughts a little better. Just wondering if any extended family will be living off grid.
