I know as we look out the window at the snow flying and think " We Are Prepared" ok, not as much as you...but we got things covered..
~~HUGS~~
I'm so slow!!! lol I didn't get it at first. Praying your fires are burning strong and keeping you toasty.
It's 85 degrees here today. I think I'd prefer a snow storm at this point. These winter heatwaves can be a little much.
Enjoy the weather and stay warm! :)
We in Ohio are preparing for a storm this week also. I thought quickly about what we might need. I didn't have to run out and get food or provisions. That is a nice feeling. Although we still need a plan for lack of electric and heat. Slowly we are working on being self sufficient. Have a good week!
Very funny, girl friend!
Loved the title of your post. We have a generator so we never worry about the power going out. But it is amazing how many times your name comes into our family's conversation.
We have been talking a lot about living off grid but for different reasons.
Stay warm and toasty.
Blessings,
Connie
I thought about you all last night as the wind was howling outside our house. I was sure hoping that we did not loose power - and thinking how nice you all had it in not having to worry.
Your post made me laugh! Thanks for the smile.
I hope you all stay nice and warm during all this nasty weather! Keep that stove stoked up and the fireplace roaring!! ...debbie
What a great post! I think of my Amish penpal at this time, knowing she's doing the same. Keeping the fires tended to and staying warm.
May you have a wonderful Christmas.
LOL! Too cute Ang! Only for us to say that here is the truth......but hopefully not for much longer!
