our Maple Cottage... in it's own natural light...

I did not want to spare you even 1 view at our Maple Cottage...

come and spend some time in the country!
We are ready at the drop of a straw hat just for you...

did you ever want to go to "that one cottage"?

this is "that one"...
a steal away time...
a time to refresh?
the country is calling...
a time to re-group...

a friend stopped by for a visit today... she was introduced to our little Maple Cottage...
she remarked at how the pictures did not do it proper justice...

I know you will enjoy the peace and tranquility too... Why not come and sit a spell at Maple Valley off-grid Farm...

this farm keeps me busy creating!

I haven't even "touched" the north side of the farm house yet... I am excited to get started. Last year I put it aside to enjoy our newborn bundling... its time to get gardening, weeding and painting my palette!
The good, the bad and the not so soon to be "ugly" ... tons of weeds have overgrown in the lily of the valley's and my hydrangea...

I made the shutter all by myself... cut the wood and all with the power saw and covered a junky old covered window that someone years ago covered on the inside of the farmhouse...

the shutter adds more character... it looks as though it has been here for years. It was all scrap wood from the farm...
I am looking for the best and fastest growing IVY ever to take up these sides of the house to cover a multitude of "character"... Can you tell me your best climbing ivy...? I am not worried if it destroys siding either :)
CHEER ME ON WON'T YOU!!!

The making of the best Sunday picnic!

I just love these kitty cats!
homemade food and vintage linens! We ate, we sang, we danced! the best picnic ever: use real china of course, silver as well...

pack some wonderful goodies to eat and of course you must have a raspberry torte on a cake stand!

vintage clothes help to make it more old fashioned... Having your oldest playing with the youngest is fun too!
This Momma guards our Sunday's like a Momma bear! Its 100% family time as we just need this after our busy weeks! A family picnic just hits the spot!

a baby for all seasons...

She was giddy with excitement when I sat and spoke to her a few days before the baby’s birth… You say, “Well of course she was, she was going to be a momma!” But what you need to understand is this momma sees each child as a blessing, a huge blessing… She was like talking to a first time mom when we spoke… You would never have guessed this was blessing number 11 for her…
We feel blessed as well to be able to share in this wonderful experience. We are here at this farm for such a time as this… A baby born right in the Maple Cottage...
So many things have happened at this Maple Valley off-grid Farm that are truly 150% straight from our Lord. We are so excited to be used specifically by Him. This life we live is all about Him… To God be the glory…
You as well are invited to come to the farm for some peace and quiet, for your unique experience, your God-time...
