Nothing quite like the smell of burning wood in the stove or fireplace...I miss that since we converted to propane gas....debbie

I love wood heat. Nothing is quite as warm. I just can't imagine how much wood you guys must go through with all you use it for. We just have a wood stove for heat and it seems like we use so much. We have been watching Victorian Farm and Edwardian Farm and I keep thinking of you guys and thinking that is how MVF does it. Hope the recovery is going well and God Bless you all.

So glad you are staying warm...I do so miss having a fireplace. I grew up w/one. Our house is 170+ yrs old, but a previous owner took out the fireplace & put in a bow-window. :-/ By the way, I LOVE your header photo!

Blessings from Ohio...Kim<><

For me it's a love/hate relationship. I am not so fond of the "debris" all over the place but I do love the cozy fire.
