On becoming 40...

The year of 40... A high school graduation open house... A 20th wedding anniversary... A 2 year-old birthday party... A royal wedding! A daughter starting college? So much more. Where has time gone!

In 6 short weeks I will be turning 40 if the Lord allows. I will be showcasing the days leading up to age 40 of what a 40 year old woman "looks like". A woman that lives on a farm, a whom who is a homemaker by trade, a mother of 6, a creator, a lover of Jesus, a home school teacher, a wife of 20 years and it goes on...

Won't you join me?

Xoxo

Can't wait to see what you have to share. You know how ppl tell you "life begins at 40"? In many ways, they are right.

And...like Kelle said, wait until 50! I'll be 52 on Friday...sometimes, I think "when did that happen to ME?!" lol Mentally, I feel about 37, but having grown children tells me something different! '-)

Have a great birthday!

Blessings from Ohio...Kim<><

Looking forward to joining you and trying to remember what my 40th looked like. I turn 47 this year and will be celebrating 27 years of marriage. Our oldest just turned 25 and it seems like just yesterday she was born. Now I'm going to be a grandma in less then 8 weeks.

Blessings,
Connie

I'm glad you're looking forward to your birthday instead of dreading it. You're in a good place in your life with many blessings. There's no need to fear your forties.

Looking forward to reading and learning from your experiences. I have a few years to go before I reach 40 - but I'm on the same lovely ride. ~Denise

Happy 40th to be!

It's not that bad. It was mine in February and I really enjoyed it.

God bless.

I'll be 40 soon too! But I think you're ahead of me by about two weeks. So glad I'll get to experience it through you first. ;) And leave me aspiring to more at 50.
