If any of you blog readers have more questions you can post them under the comments here and I will do my best to answer them if not to personal. I will close the questions on Friday, April 1, 2011.

Very interesting interview. I went over and read it. I understand completely where you're coming from. Although my husband and I are not off-grid, we do many things the old way. We farm to sustain ourselves rather than rely on modern food markets. Thanks for the interview.

I live near the largest Amish community in WI and find theirs and your life style so interesting. We live simply but not off grid; I admire you for that. How do you access a computer? Do either of you work off of the farm? Our largest expense is Ins. and property taxes; this prohibits us from totally living without outside jobs. God Bless You!

I found your interview with Patrice to be very interesting and informative. Kudos to you and your family for making this your way of life. I am jealous -- but I also understand how much work must be involved. :)

Loved the interview with Patrice and have become a follower even though I'm not an age where living off grid would become a reality. It is a lot of work. Live near an Amish community in Ohio and love to shop for their food when in the area, they make some of the best cheeses and potato salads and pies. Love the blog and will find you on you tube and subscribe also
