Saturday on the farm!

Rotating pastures, planting in the misty rain, catching critters and more!

But first some farm fresh orangey, eggy baked french toast and maple syrup!

What are you doing today? I love hearing from you!

Hiked Green Point trail off M22 (in a light mist) was wonderful! Our 3 yr. old led the entire way and our 5 mo. old slept in the Ergo Carrier - can't beat that.

Usual Saturday cleaning....dd baked her first batch of bread by hand instead of breadmaker...rising as I type.

Waiting for grandson to come...can't wait...two weeks old today.

French toast sounds wonderful...can almost smell it from here.

Have a blessed weekend.

Planting garlic and lemongrass as the husband and children began building the tree house. Harvesting green beans but finding we did not take into account the 'snacking factor' - i.e to plant enough to allow snacking direct from the garden. They are so darn tender and crunchy the kids have been munching their way through them whenever they go into the garden! But I'm happy - it wasn't possums eating our crops and talk about healthy fast family food!
Also made chilli jam which is now officially my husband's favourite preserve!
