YES!! :o) How wonderful! I am on my dinosaur computer (which has decided to quit running sound...) so I will have to watch it *with sound* on my laptop later on! :)

Although we do have electric...we don't have television programming...so I pray my children never realize who most of the "role models" are out there!!! :)

And, they will never miss it. We don't miss television here, either.

I was so proud of them too. You were all so gracious to that family.

Unfortunately, my daughter does know who they are...nothing about them. But they are on the front cover so SOOOO many magazines at the check out counter...so my kids see them. Wish they didn't

Your family was very gracious.

My fave is when your daughter commented on their "fancy boots". . .such a sweet family you have!

Yup, that is a blessing. None of my kids have any idea who they are either--and they even go to public school! :)

I am a Grammie of four beautiful granddaughters. I am not without skills and have heard the name, but what have they contributed to make this world a better place? MMMMMMMMMM nothing that I know of.

Bless your girls, your family. We are joining you off grid in one week.

The point Anderson was making was the reason our children do not know a lot of POP culture is because we do not have a television because we live without electric. It had nothing to do with school.

**I was just saying kids can live a sheltered life, by choice, whether they have electric or tv or public school or none of these. Much of it is in the choices we as parents make for our families--which I believe you are doing a wonderful job with your family- I was just saying Anderson made such a big deal about the fact that your kids didnt know who they were and my kids are "in the world" with electric and tv and public school (which a lot of people would say that is as "worldly" as you can get, and they dont have a clue (I actually don't either) about these people...:-)

I was trying to watch the episode but all I seem to get is a little clip. Is there a link to the whole episode?
Thank you!
