Come to Maple Valley Farm and take a course in fermentation!

We are inviting you to join us for a farm lunch, a course in fermentation and friendship on
May 17, 2012
Noon – 3 pm
At Maple Valley Farm – The Maple Cottage
By reservation only
Make a day of it in the country by attending the local Trufant Flea Market first.  Then come back to the farm (just 3 miles away) for lunch and a class!

The fermentation course with Maple Valley Farms
Taught by the adorable “Farmgirl Cyn” – 
Learn how to preserve the way your great grandma would have! Using salt and whey as your base, we will learn how to naturally ferment foods such as Korean kimchee, sauerkraut, and beet kvass. Not only are these foods a delicious addition to your kitchen, they increase the vitamin levels and digestibility of the vegetables, produce enzymes, and are full of healthy probiotics
We will serve you a wonderful farm luncheon at the Maple Cottage and some tasting of the course!
 $75 or make a day of it at the farm by joining us in the morning for the simple cheese making and cultured dairy course - save $20 for total of $130 on both courses
