Hi I have just found your blog and love it, we are a sort of off the grid family as well. However I do not home school as of yet, as here it is not well looked as.but we do have a farm and raise our 3 children on it. We eat and live off the land including our home which we built off the land.
My oldest daughter has a spindle and is trying to teach herself to spin. I spin but have a wheel. We use our own wool and fiber off our sheep and llamas.
I will continue to read your posts. Thanks for a great blog. If you get a chance please do stop by my blog as well.
