Yesterday we dove right in!

Back to the parts of home schooling that require the books...

It was just as precious hearing the Amish school children running to school for the first day and hearing the bell ring in the middle of no where...

How did your first day go? Do tell!

Only one left in the nest. He has Down syndrome and attends a special ed class (first year of high school). His day went very well. Next week he takes therapeutic horseback riding lessons.

Here's a link to how our day went. I found you on the WM homeschoolers fb page. :) http://www.dearlylovedmist.com/2012/09/our-first-day-of-homeschool.html

My third just started high school away from me this year :( They attend West Michigan Aviation Academy, a charter high school out by the airport. Just Anna Banana left homeschooling with her me. She's in 7th grade. I told her she will get way more attention than the other three did because she doesn't have to share me! Treasuring these moments with her.

"... with her me" Right now you're probably wondering why I am homeschooling at all!?! I hit the publish button before I finished editing! LOL
