We have been having so much fun opening the doors of our uber charming Maple Cottage each Thursday!

All week long I am out on the prairie hunting for treasures to be added new weekly to our cottage!

This week I have picked up items from Clare, Big Rapids, Leelanau and more!

Come out and spend some time in the country at the Maple Cottage Sale!

Currently, this old iron settee is my personal favorite item we have available!

Our pony barn and pond in the background make a very country and welcoming feel!

Many Annie Sloan finished pieces!

and many large vintage furniture pieces. This cupboard is over 6 feet wide and over 6 1/2 feet tall!

I love this rural rte. delivery post office organizer we have available! VERY heavy, bring a truck and trailer for this cutie!

we have some beautiful consigned items as well, such as this "secret garden" desk!

Every week we have new items available!

There is something unique for everyone... Rustic, Industrial, Primitive, Vintage, Shabby Chic and Prairie! My biggest problem is not wanting to keep everything we have in here :)

But things are ever changing at the Maple Cottage SHOP so I just enjoy coming down here and rearranging and "playing cottage"... It is fun to continue bringing all the new finds in each week and finding a special place for them

This settee calls me every time... I love the antique quilt in the florals!

Happy Mother's Day

Nothing is more important than these blessings and raising them up in the Lord...

Not farming,

Not being in a magazine,

Not blogging,

Not personal gain,

Not having a sale,

Not being with friends,

Not climbing a corporate ladder,

Nothing...

Some say women give up so much when they become mothers.... Yes they do…

But I'm not missing out on a thing!

Others say, "There is life after children"… I see myself in these precious beings lives forever and ever!

Someday I will have too much time on my hands... Too much time to remember my best life NOW... But more time to pray for the generations that will continue to go far beyond me. Prayers that they will be warriors for the kingdom!

If this is all I end with, then I received far more than I deserve in this life, far more!

Psalms 127:3-5

Thank you Jesus for 9 blessings of the womb
